Update
Updating an Existing ReaClassical Portable Install
Warning
ReaClassical 27 is a new major version. If you are coming from ReaClassical 26 or earlier, do not update in place: run the installer for a fresh copy of ReaClassical 27, which keeps your old install untouched. Updates within the same major version arrive via ReaPack as described below.
Use Extensions > ReaPack > Synchronize packages or press Shift+U (Update ReaClassical). This will sync ReaPack to get the latest ReaClassical functions. If a newer major version of ReaClassical is available, Update ReaClassical tells you so and asks you to install the new version fresh instead of updating via ReaPack.

Update ReaClassical works the same way and reports its result through Clara.
Factory Reset
In the ReaClassical top menu, click on ReaClassical Factory Reset (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F) to return most settings back to those presented at first install.
Updating REAPER
It is highly advisable to use the version of REAPER that ships with ReaClassical, which is the version ReaClassical has been tested against. Open the Terminal (Ctrl+Enter) and type reaper to install that tested version. reaper=latest installs the newest public release and reaper=752 (for example) installs a specific one. REAPER closes your open projects (it will ask you to save any unsaved work), installs and restarts. Third-party REAPER update utilities are not included in the install package.
